Like what you see? Why not get involved ...
We firmly believe in volunteers. Without our volunteers we would not be able to run the project as succesfully as we do now.
Volunteers often hold a community together. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. It can benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, boost your social skills and confidence and increase your sense of wellbeing.
Volunteer Buddies - Working in Partnership
We work in partnership with voluntary organisations in Surrey, providing a volunteer buddy scheme for those that would like some extra support. If you would like to be a volunteer buddy or think you need a buddy to help you, then please contact the organisations below.
- Stuck in a rut
- Wanting some direction in your life
- Need some help getting started
- Feel like trying something new
- Like to see what is available locally
The Welcome buddies project can:
- Listen to you and help you find things you would like to do
- Provide a buddy to accompany you if you wish
- Look for local groups or activities to take part in
