Catalyst has been operating in Surrey and the South of England for over 30 years. Their services are split into two main arms, outreach services, and working to help people change behaviours at their pace with support throughout. They can provide counselling and a wide range of other help.
Oakleaf Enterprise is the only mental health charity in Surrey working as a social enterprise and exists to provide support and vocational training for those suffering from mental illness, enabling them to stay well and live in the community, and ultimately return to meaningful and satisfying long-term employment. The charity has been running since 1997 and offers training in IT, horticulture and upholstery. Alongside their training, clients also have the opportunity to engage in a variety of social inclusion activities ranging from Tai Chi, Yoga, Guitar Lessons, Numeracy and Literacy lessons, to confidence and wellbeing courses.
Guildford Action has been working within the communities of Guildford, Waverley for 30 years. It was originally set-up to support those who were unemployed in Guildford but over time has evolved its services to include support for all those who are disadvantaged and in need within areas of Guildford and Waverley
Voluntary Action South West Surrey
Voluntary Action South West Surrey is the Local Support and Development organisation for Guildford and Waverley. VASWS provides direct support services and specialist advice to the voluntary, community and faith sector in South West Surrey, helping them to carry out their valuable work.
Voluntary Support - North Surrey
Voluntary Support North Surrey improves the lives of the people in the Boroughs of Surrey Heath, Spelthorne and Runnymede. They work with voluntary and community organisations, statutory agencies and the business community, offering free membership and many free services to local voluntary groups.
Creative response are a charity that provide art sessions, supporting adults of all ages with their mental health and wellbeing.
Creative Response are run by professional artists with the aim to provide a safe, caring environment where vulnerable people in our community can explore their creativity. With support and encouragement participants find a voice to express themselves and reduce their levels of distress and anxiety.
CornerHouse is a charity offering emotional and wellbeing support in Woking, Runnymede and Spelthorne.
They run groups to support people aged 18+ who are dealing with a wide range of mental health issues.
